Detroit Red Wings possibility Jared McIsaac was associated with a frightening occurrence throughout a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets Sunday.
The defenseman was playing in the NHL Prospect Competition when he was looked into the boards and "lost consciousness" in the very first period, the Red Wings stated in a tweet. McIsaac was delivered to a health center after the hit.
"Jared McIsaac lost consciousness after a hit right into the boards during the first duration of tonight's game versus CBJ but is now awake and sharp and has feeling in all his extremities. As a preventive step, he was moved to a local medical facility for more monitoring," the team said.
